We had a spacemaker coffee pot for over 20 years. Broke the pot early on but substituted another and kept right on using it until we remodeled our kitchen. After using other coffeemakers including an expensive KRUPS, we decided to buy another spacemaker. We could not be more pleased! It works great, looks good and we anticipate using it many years. Other reviewers have talked about the difficulty in filling and spilling water from the reserviour but we find that no problem and in fact have spill no water. We constantly complained about the difficulty in pouring water into the small orifice of the KRUPS reserviour. Also, the Krups pot had a strange spout that always dripped under the stream of coffee while pouring.Still have not made up your mind?
